One of Bad Schwartau's lovely bakeries right on the town's pedestrian zone. They offer with many different breads, bread rolls, cakes, cookies, wonderful sweets, yoghurts, little snacks and salads. It's a pretty big bakery as they also have a cafe-area where customers can sit, eat, and have their coffee or soda to drink. A Food-Health-Store is close by around the corner.
I owe you my eternal gratefulness.
The greatest friendship I ever knew.
You saved me from a plight
that would have led me to death beneath the ocean waves.
You carried me safe to shore so the waters haven't taken me.
You brought up the rear, protecting me from despair.
I live because of you.
All through the night we spoke in poetry.
I've listen to you with devotion.
Don't know how we communicated,
We simply talked and understood.
Now you're off again but somewhere in my mind I see you,
and you do still think of me.
May the sea-nymph ever guide you on your way.
The horizon grows dark.
The birds vanish for the night
The sea falls into slumber.
Into deep dreams I go.
-P.Warner, poetic re-creation
Triton is the son of Poseidon god of the sea and his wife, the sea nymph Amphitrite. Triton himself was a merman, with a human upper body and the lower body of a fish complete with tail. He is shown youthful and often given dolphin tails. Not as well known as the greater gods like his father (Poseidon), Triton was still an important figure in Greek mythology. In fact, Triton, the biggest moon of the planet Neptune is named after him.
