Konditorei Cafe Koester: Wonderful breakfast
Wonderful bakery providing with wonderful breakfast/goodies such as bread rolls with eggs, bacon, cheese, vegetables, fruitssalad, juices, cakes, cookies, biscuits, waffles, cereals, yoghurt and what else. We yet had a simple lye-bread*(Laugenbrot) the best I've ever ate, and plain coffee & mineralwater. Cafe's atmosphere is beautiful, room is light-flooded - lots of windows - room is decorated in a warm contemporary style. Very friendly waiters/waitresses. And: The opening hours are perfect for early risers like me. Daily:
*Lye-bread is eaten often in Germany and one of the popular snacks for in-between meals. Unlike in the US, Germans eat lye-bread/soft pretzels with butter, not mustard or cheese sauce for dipping. The bakeries also sell pretzel rolls, which are good with liverwurst or other "Aufschnitt" in the middle.

German Air Force bases in Schleswig...
Since the German Air Force has a few bases around Ratekaus's state of Schleswig Holstein, I thought the link below (Bundeswehr/German Federal Armed Forces) provids with interesting informations for example about the readiness of the German Air Force, its contributions to military stability in Europe, or its participation in rescue missions either on homeland or abroad. Unfortunately no English translation yet.Related to:
