Microwave food with lots of artificial flavours...

    by King_Golo Written Jan 9, 2014

Lafayette Café and Bar in List was our refuge on a cold and stormy day. We had just hiked for some 10km and were hungry, so we thought we'd pop in and get some warm-up-food, i.e. apple strudel and Belgian waffles. The strudel seemed to consist of candy with lots of artificial sweet flavours while the waffles were not the slightest bit sweet and didn't have any taste at all. The price for this "meal" (for lack of a more suitable word) was way too high. Altogether a place which I can't recommend at all.

Unique Suggestions: I don't know about their non-sweet stuff, but maybe you are on the safe side with some kebap or pizza.

Fun Alternatives: All around List's harbour are touristy restaurants, so just pick any other one. Gosch, a locally famous fish restaurant, has a branch there as well, but unfortunately I don't like fish.
