That impressive nature is the base of our region. I wrote, it is a gate to Woodland. When you are standing on Inselsberg you get an impression from the width of the forest.
Of course walking is thereby No. 1 of all activities in our region. Numerous, well signposted footpaths, from plane to steep paths, from short to long waiting for nature friends. Liked are the ways to the Inselsberg, or all around. And maybe, if you are silent, you can see some wild living animals?
There are special travelling books in what the distances are exactly described.
Often I am myself on that mountain. It means only some minutes to be "up on the high". (with car, of course *lol) But in every season that mountain looking with another face.
In the valley or region around blossom flowers and Spring comes, but on the hight there are places with snow. Around sun is shining... but on the mountain you are in the clouds... often such differences, and that makes the Inselsberg so interesting.
And what you never will forget: the fantastic view around.
