I wonder that such a tourism center (or if it want be) has so bad streets in the town. Like every town in Germany it has debts, of course. But why done so few?
Please drive slowly inside, and think for the complicated rules of traffic if you reach the main place. Often I´m thinking that our official persons in charge have fun to change that time by time and make it harder then before.

Walking in Tabarz

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You need sturdy shoes and weather gear in summer, also a backpack. The town has a mild climate, but in the mountains and forests the weather often changes or it is considerably chill.

Miscellaneous: PS: This picture is not made by myself, but it had no copyright.

Not only on the peak of Inselsberg you have beautiful views above the surrounding scenery. Close to the towers you find a way (it is belong the Rennsteig) back to the big parking places on Klein (Little-) Inselsberg. There are some nice places to have a rest with unique views above the landscape, like picture show.
