If you plan for staying in Germany especially long (like, more than 4 days) you might invest in a solar light bulb. these have certain rays that help simulate sunlight, so that when July--oops, I mean winter rather--hits, you will be able to chemically be happy by pretending that you have been frolicking in sunlight instead of hiding away in your apartment because of all the rain. seasonal affective disorder is a very REAL and DANGEROUS affliction and must be treated as soon as possible!
sunglasses are not needed for obvious reasons, but people seem to wear them anyway

Whatever you decide to bring...don't forget warm clothing and a good umbrella even if its middle of August. Germany has 290 days of rainfall. Gosh...I miss the rain. Can you believe I live in Phoenix now? 340 days of Sun...a nightmare!
Definetely buy perfumes in Germany for French merchandize is really cheap over there.
The standard Photo-Film that we all use is Kodak and Fuji and its rare to find anything below 36 images per container. Also its really cheap to buy film there but development is realy expensive so safe the film for develpent after you arriwe at home. Leave a Comment

I WENT IN THE SUMMER....SO I TOOK JEANS, SHORTS, SHORT SLEEVE SHIRTS, A DRESS OUTFIT...JUST IN CASE....A LIGHT JACKET...JUST IN CASE...WHICH I USED AND A GOOD PAIR OF WALKING SHOES...YOU'LL NEED THEM...BELIEVE ME.
YOU CAN BUY ALL THAT THERE.
TAKE A GOOD CAMERA...IF YOU WANT GOOD PICTURES...THOSE
THROW AWAYS AREN'T VERY GOOD.
DIDN'T DO THAT....SORRY!!
IF YOUR SMOKE...TAKE ENOUGH OF YOUR OWN BRAND OF AMERICAN CIGARETTES....THE ONES THERE ARE O.K. BUT I PREFER MY OWN BRAND. Leave a Comment

Even in the summer there are a lot of rainfalls. 10 years ago it didn't rain in July - but that changed.
Nowadays its sometimes so cold you have to wear a jacket. So be prepared!
