You only need money and a bag with food. Because it's very expencive.
Nice shoes, with warm weather only a t-shirt. Clothing what is easy to wear. Leave a Comment

One handbag for clothes.I packed enough clothes to do only one wash on a two week vacation. And one backpack that I carry everywhere.
Keep to a minimum. Plan for rainy days (I had one day of sun in two week). But dont be cheap on shoes, buy the best you can afford.
Antibacterial hand soap for day to day travel. Band aid for blisters. Sun block. Paper tissues.
I have a digital camera with enough memory to take about 600 photos. For me it was enough. I brought a 220/110 volt adapter with my charger. I charge my batteries every night after a long day.
Dont overload yourself with camping or hiking gear if you plan to do it only a day or two. There are a lot of place where you can rent for cheap.
Bring some extra credit card or a different way to get money. One of my card did not work after only two days. There are automatic teller everywhere in Germany even small towns. Very easy to use (choice of two language German or english). Leave a Comment

Suitcases, backpacks
Cool and hot clothing. If it is hot, it is usually very humid. If it is cold, it will be cold1
Towels, washclothes, blowdrier, since most European hotels are not equipped with these. Any medicine you might need.
Always take an extra set of batteries.
Sunscreen, sunglasses... Leave a Comment

The weather is changeable so pack all kinds of clothes, they will be used! Summers are warm, occasionally hot. Winters are freezing with snow or rain and much colder than here in the United Kingdom!! Leave a Comment

When you come to Germany, whether it be for a few days or a few years, there are a few things you should always with you. Bring an empty stomach. The food here is exceptional. Bring a camera with tons of film. You can go from mountains to rivers to castles to farms all in the same day. Won't you want to remember that? Bring an insatiable appetite for beauty. You'll find plenty of it here, along with friendly people who love having you here. You won't leave empty handed, I promise you. You will take with you joy for having experienced Germany, at its finest. Leave a Comment

its a good idea to bring both warm weather clothes and cool weather gear in the spring and summer months. it is wet and cold in the winter so be prepared! one very important item to have with you is A RAINCOAT OR UMBRELLA!!!!!!! dont forget , this is europe we are talking about here. rain coats are better becausr there is nothing more irrtating than to get poked and prodded but the person in front or behind you in line somewhere with their big umberlla! so my advice is to spen the money on a very good rain coat that will keep you dry.
bring rain gear!!!!! wet in the spring and summer and cold in the winter! pretty typical huh? more info in the luggage and bags section, make sure you arent trying to break those new pair of shoes in here! comfortable shoes is a must. if you go against this see the next section about medical supplies.
if you are trying to break in a a new pair of shoes here make shur you bring band aids and some anti-biotic ointment. you are going to have blisters! other than that not too much to worry about. oh yea bring something for that headache the day after. the BEER is good! so im confident you will have more than one!
bring a camera! the volts in germany are 220v wereas in the U.S. it is 110v. if you try to plug in you video camera in one of these, POOF! you just fried it! batteries are easy to find and check the owners manual of your photo equipment for more details
tents rule! if you like camping. southern Bravaria is some of the best camping i have ever done! if you go to the beach bring sunscreen and mirrored sunglasses so the topless german women dont catch you staring at them!!!! some are good but some arent! be careful Leave a Comment
