It might have been obvious already that we Saarlänner (= people born in Saarland) do like good food - the most famous quote when it comes to food is hauptsach' gudd g'ess (no, it is impossible to translate this properly...).So it should not wonder that we also have a very special - food related - wreath for advent time. It is called Saarland advent wreath and every Saarlänner knows it, no matter how far away from home he or she is. But there are two variations :-)It is our world famous Lyoner (sausage), with either Maggi bottles or Karlsberg beer bottles as candles. No, no any other beer brand, but Karlsberg (I am wondering why they not even have a French version of their website..). It has huge advantages over the advent wreath which is used outside of Saarland (= in Germany and other countries):* it does not prick,* it does not loose needles,* it does not stink,* it does not burn,* it...
