When I was visiting in Germany's state of Saarland, gf & her hubby, and me made a nice, little sight seeing trip to Merzig. Despite the rather chilly and gray of that day, we took the outdoor seats of ice cafe Cortina, a cafe that's located right on Merzig's pedestrian zone (town's center). If ice cream does taste that nice, that one is choosing outdoor-seats and ignoring the coldness, the ice cream must be indeed tasty (& worth to deal with the chilly). I've took a big cup of lemon ice cream with slices of kiwi fruit. Def. tasty!

Always attracted to a hausbrauerei, beer made on the premesis, or nearby, always seems to taste better - well to me anyway!
It's a pretty modern place with the brewing kettles visible from the comfortable restaurant area.
Both enjoyed a flammkuchen, vegetarian for Mrs B, and some decent Märzen and Hell beers.
A good place to visit, happily return one day.

The name is a giveaway, it's a Chinese restaurant! and very close to our hotel on a wet and cold night - choice made.
Friendly, comfortable and good menu and large portions of good tasty food, just how we like it!
Enjoyed our visit here.

Balkan restaurants are always interesting to us, enjoy the food!
Anyway, right in the city centre, this comfortable and friendly restaurant was well worth a visit.
Raznjici for me, excellent!
