One of the small villages in the Warndt is called St.Nikolaus - Santa Claus in German. Needless to say, the local post office gets quite a lot of letters for Santa Claus during the Christmas season. Each year in November and December volunteers come and help answering the letters. They try not to leave one letter unanswered.
Nikolaustag - Santa Claus' day is 6 December and each year the local gymnasium is turned into a post office on 5 and 6 December, and letters are then stamped with a special St Nikolaus stamp.

LIttle town with great treasures

Walking along this little town was pretty nice even if the weather was crazy. Time to time I think that this picture is a trick that came out of that :)
