There are many great restaurants in Gibraltar, but please heed my words and stay away from Charlie's Restaurant in Marina Bay (a so-called steak house and Indian). My family were unfortunate enough to eat here during a recent visit to Gib. Apart from awful customer service we were treated to a meal that left myself and my daughter with bad stomachs for the next week - suspected food poisoning.
Beware!

Address: Marina Bay, Gibraltar
Well i agree with the others that it can be quite quiet in the evenings but if you like this this Gib is the place to go.
I like to have a meal down by the marina in the evenings where it can get quite busy. There are around 4 restaurants to choose from.I like Charlie's Taverna.
I also like Lord Nelson's there food is pretty tasty & you can sit & watch the world go by in Casemates square.
There are so many pubs & places to eat here, try pinchito's at The Picaldilly Bar(near Queen's hotel, cable cars)& just by castle steps off main st a great morrocan takeaway serving cheap tasty cuisine.

Gibraltar tends to die when the tour buses leave, so now's the time to find a cosy bar, sup a couple of pints and decide whether dinner will be pizza, curry or fish and chips. Or on second thoughts, have another beer and think about food later.
