The apes are tailless monkeys, properly known as Barbary Macaques. They are perhaps the best known of Gibraltar's attractions. You can feed the monkeys with vegetables.

Take the airial ropeway to the top of the rock and visit the only wild apes in Europe. Well, they are actually quite tame :-)

our favorite past time was to run up the road to the top of the rock. for those not so fit the cable car did the hard work for you. Don't forget to stop of and see the Apes on the Rock
