Anopolis Greek Village, Crete Island
On our last evening, we were brought to Anopolis village, to watch a very good dance show. I must say, the dancers really did a great job, it was non-stop and lasted quite long. What I didn't like about it, was that it was so hughe! On the outside I already saw the touringcars lined up, and inside you don't know what you're seeing: long rows of tables, enough for hunderds of people! This really is big buisiness: I felt like cattle in a giant stable. Food and wine are included, there's bottles red and white on the tables, but don't think too much of it. If you really want to experience the Cretan food, this is not the place to be. If the dancing hadn't been that good, I wouldn't have bothered making this tip, but I think it's a good night out if you are with a group of people, and there's even room to do some dancing yourself, at several times people are asked on stage.
Dress Code: No dress code, you will find some people really dress up, other wear jeans.
