The airport of Sitia is located on the top of the mountain where Sitia is builded.
The town center is about 2 km from the airport.
There isn't bus from the airport to Sitia, but its full of taxis.
It cost from 3 - 5 euro, independs from the day (weekend) and the number of the luggages.
If you are light travelling then its a good chance to walk! its very easy to find the main square, just slope downthe road.
Helpfulness
It is sometimes good to take a taxi to your destination, especially if there are four of you going to the same place. It can be cheaper than taking a bus - and much more comfortable. Before you start your taxi trip you should agree on a price with the driver.
BTW, Greek taxies are said to be one of the cheapest ones in Europe.
