Be careful when you get your bus ticket from the ticket office, the number on you ticket is not necessarily the number on the bus you want. We were caught out when we were waiting for the bus to Plaka they changed the number on the bus without telling us.

We took the bus from Agios nikolaos to Elounda, it's a 15 minutes drive.
You find the busstop at the square infront of the small harbour, a statue of two doves decorate the square, you can't miss it.
