We have read some good reviews before leaving in Greece, therefore we have been looking after "Trizoni" for a lunch.
Unfortunately, we've been disappointed. No English menu, not fresh made food , we order something and finally payed for something else , high prices.

After a hike up the hill from our hotel in Kriopigi, we choose the Hagiati restaurant to eat at as it seemed popular, with virtually all the tables already full.
On sitting down, our server (who also owned the place) gave us the menus and immediately suggested which dishes we should choose - while sometimes helpful, in this instance, she was a little overpowering, virtually insisting we had specific meals!
After eventually pursuading her to leave us alone to peruse the menu ourselves, we ordered Kleftina and Stuffed Burger (much to the delight of the owner, as that was the meal she really wanted me to have!!)
When the meals arrived both were well cooked and of a good size. My wife, Debbie, finished off what she could of the Kleftika, commenting on how good it was and, for my part, the stuffed burger was almost as heavenly as the owner had lead me to believe ;) So food wise, a definate thumbs up!
The restaurant itself was also spotlessly clean - it's a pity that that was tempered by the pretty slow service. This was down to the fact the the woman owner appeared to be the only person 'on the shop floor'
Would I go there again? - yes definately, the food was very good; but the overall ambience could be improved by less bossy staff and quicker service!
Favorite Dish: The stuffed burger really was quite good - the meat was very tasty, and the filling of local cheese complimented it well.

During a day trip to Hanioti, we stopped for a quick lunch at the Tavern Apxontiko. The tavern is between the main square and the church, just a short walk from the beach.
Our server brought us some fresh bread and butter to nibble at, while we mulled over the well populated menu - while we waited for our main meals of Chicken Salad, Carbonara and a childrens 'chips and sausage', we ate our favourite starter of garlic bread which was promptly delivered and baked to perfection.
The main meals were - while not being the most exotic ever ordered - quite simply the best food we ate during our visit to Greece. The Carbona was piping hot and tasty, with the Chicken Salad well presented, ample and devoured without hesitation!
At the end of the meal our server offered Amber my daughter a free ice cream which was a nice touch.
Given the quality of the meals and service, the final bill was very cheap and I can't recommend you visit this restrauant enough!
Favorite Dish: If you're looking for a lightish lunch, the Chicken Salad fits the bill perfectly..
