The buses around Kriopigi seemed to run to their own secret timetable.
After waiting 45 minutes one day and listening to everybody elses tales of woe, we decided to flag down one of the many passing taxies. The taxies are reasonable (about 5 euros for a 5km journey) and certainly faster and more comfortable than the buses - get one of them instead!

Hanioti was just a short jaunt of 5km from Kriopigi where we were actually staying - as with other routes out of Kriopigi I'd suggest a mode of transport other than walking - the roadside footpaths......
