The beautiful beach of Hiliadou can be reached from Kymi. It is about 90 minutes drive but it took us more because my passion is taking photos, so every now and then I was off the car taking photos or walking.
From Steni, where we were some days ago, it is shorter to come to this beach. It is just 45 minutes and I believe a better road, but we did not have time then. So, here we are today.
It is an asphalt roadway throughout the trip, but for the last 6 km .
The whole trip is in lush vegetation through mountains and next to a river.
The scenery is awesome!
Although I had my swimming suit on I did not want to swim here, as I was attracted so much from whole scenery. Rocks, trees, waters…..something so friendly and beautiful, but wild at the same time!
There are a few hotels and some studio apartments in the area, and I promised myself to book a hotel and come here again next summer for a few days.
Before reaching the beach we saw many tents under some high plane trees, and some caravans. I just wonder where all these people who own a tent go if they don’t have a chemical toilet with them!!
There is a dead end at one end of the road where the rocks are, and there is a parking space.
Many people don’t know and just park the cars along the side street, but when I asked I was told that there is another parking a bit further very near the high rocks.
I got off the car to take photos and just below there was a place where nudists had put their tents. I saw a couple of them in the distance, and just very near where I was standing, below there was a couple of nudists who were sunbathing and relaxing in the beauty of their surroundings.
See my photos, and also the video to get the whole idea of this place here.
I think it is worth visiting it.
Tip: Don’t come here on a motor bike. It can be very difficult and exhausting drive.

If it is summer and you want to cool up, take your equipment and come to Soutsini Beach.
It is the most popular in Kymi and people from the near by villages come here to swim.
Because it is the Aegian here in this part of the island the sea is a bit colder than the beaches in Eretria, and Amarynthos.
There are a couple of restaurants and bars next to the beach but you have to park your cars and walk about 230 metres to go to the best part where the bars are.
There are some umbrellas on the way, and outside it is sand mixed with colourful big pebbles.
On top of the hill there very near the restaurant you will see a very small church however because of the rains in winter, half of the church has fallen off. (If they don't do something with it, the church might collapse. It is so picturesque.
