StefanosS Says: "Pachia Ammos" means "Thick Sand". This is the best sandy beach of Samothraki island. Not enough shadow on the beach, bring your own umbrellas. There is a cool fish-tavern-restaurant with big trees and shadow at the west side of the beach.

This is an old abandoned water-mill, about 100 years old, on the main road crossing the village of Lakkoma, on the way to Pachia Ammos and to the country-chapel of Panaghia Krimniotissa.
