Langadhas Off The Beaten Path

I have been there. Anastenaria is related to the feast of Sts Constantine and Helen, but sometimes it is celebrated on the Saturday/Sunday before or the Saturday/Sunday after the feast. This year, 2008, 21st May is Wednesday. Anastenaria is just a popular feast and official church is not participating. Important: if it is raining, they will postpone it! Anastenaria is also celebrated at some vilages like: Aghia Eleni of Serres, Kerkini of Serres, Meliki of Veria and Mavrolefki of Drama. Check the schedules of each place separately.
