We discoverd some real nice bars on the beach in Asprovalta. My nephew didn't really follow the dress code...we attracted a great deal of attention with him!!! LOL(The hat with the long hear costed about 7 Euros, and it was worth it..LOL)
In Athens the best clubs are in Glyfada! In the islands, look for them in the capital of each island! I absolutely recomend Pounda Beach in Paros if you're young and want to go to a great party atmosphere!!You can also go to a concert in one of the many clubs in Athens! The most famous singers are Sfakianakis, or Despina Vandi!Imagine summer in Greece! HOT, HOT, HOT! It depends, but I would advise to dress up for the clubs!
There were many clubs and bars to choose from in Ipsos. We went to most of them. There was something for everyone's taste, a bit of irish humour in an irish karioke bar (Old Nellies), An indie bar playing a variety of hip hop and indie tunes, most of the other bars played pop and other chart music. On most nights there were foam parties at the two biggest clubs in Ipsos (one of them called Monikos). It was very hard trancy music, not really my scene but I recommend it to anyone who is into that type of music. Casual/smart.
If you are on vacation,with money to burn and willing to pull out all the stops the nightlife compares to any major city or party town in the world.The discos stay open till dawn and there is no nicer place to nurse a hangover then in a umbrella shaded beach chair a few feet from the sea,to built up the strenght to face the next evening.Mykonos or Paros is the place to be for young people.
If your into the hard core after hours sceeen, you'll experience it here like never before.surrounded by the sea, and a swimming pool in the center of it all this is the perfect place to dance your night away to crazy dj's spiining latest tunes. trendyish, comfortable shoes(lot of dancing going on)

SKALA,KEFALONIA.The nightlife was centred round your evening meal.The sun was not setting till well after 8pm so it was good to get in a taverna ,laze over Mythos and wine and enjoy the superb food in an unhurried fashion. The atmosphere even encourages you to talk to each other in between peoplewatching. A nice leisurely walk round the village and back to the hotel ready for the next day.The atmosphere is so relaxed as many of the tourists were couples but the tavernas and few bars make sure there is a bit of a buzz to the place. Smart casual but lightweight due to the heat.
