A suitcase and a small bag for toiletries, etc. that you can carry-on. In July and August be sure to have very light clothing, the temperatures are very hot. Especially in Athens, temps can reach 40C or 104F. Bring sunglasses. Greece only gets cool in the winter months, and in Athens temperatures are moderate, averaging highs above 50 in winter. Codiene is punished very strictly and is something to be sure you dont have in any form.Bring sunscreen... ? You can always buy a disposable camera, which works very well, if a problem arises.

suitcases, duh! also a rucksack if your into walking, and a handbag if youre into clubbing. lots of bars will look after you r bag behind the bar if you trust them when you want to dance. sandals, flipflops the sand gets REALLY hot, you can burn your feet, trainers for walking, high heels for dancing and flirting sanitary towels etc, they are not that good or expensive, plug adaptors, the chemists are pretty good for paracetamols and thatall prescribed pills etc because its expensive to see the doctorsunglasses, suncream there are loads of photo places shop around. mosquito repellent mosquito repellent mosquite repellent, you will hate these things!!! greek phrase book, luxuries like custard powder, and traditional english food you cant get there, only if your living there cos you miss it. if your going on holiday forget it and eat everything greek

In summer prefer light colored clothing.T-shirts,shorts,hat are the most essential. In summer, mosquito repellents are necessary. Also you should have soothing cream against insect stings. Sunscreen of high index especially for the fair skinned! In case you get a sun-burn put yogurt! The traditional way is always the best!

If you're staying in a hotel or a apartment, a suitcase will do perfectly. Not to many, thin summerwear, and if you like to walk, take hikingshoes with you. We had them on, and some people laught at us, because it was very hot, but whe walked a lot, and we didn't get painful feet.So we laught back!! :-) diarrhoeamedical, because the cook a lot of food in oliveoil, and when you have a weak stomach....Aspirin, for when you have to much to drink...... Batteries in Corfu sity wasn't a problem but i don't know how it is in other places. But it's better to take batteries and film from home. Then you'll never have to worry.Never leave home with a lot of photo equipment!!!

Bring a spare bag to gather up all the odds and ends that you purchase on your visit. Just make sure that you carry some good walking shoes as you are going to need them.... Toileteries can be expensive in Greece so make sure that you carry plenty. Not all the Western brands of toiletries are readily available. If you are on prescription medication please ensure that you are carrying sufficent supplies. Best to also label them showing what they are. Either that or bring a doctors prescription with you for your medication, but get the doctor to write the medical name and not the brand name as these can vary from country to country. Bring plenty of film for the camera as it can be expensive. Athens does not have a beach, but if you intend to go across to the islands for a few days make sure you bring your swimming costumes. Also bring your creams and lotions as they too are expensive in...

Pack as little as possible. It makes it easier for travel. Take plenty of warm clothes. It was pretty cold when we were there and I wasn't expecting that. Also, take good walking shoes. I was dumb and pretty much had sandles and uncomfortable shoes. Be prepared! Take plenty of film and batteries. Traveler's checks are always a bonus. They can come in handy in an emergency.

I prefer luggage which has small weals. From warm clothes to bikinis and all that stays between; Warm clothes (if you go to Creta on Spring or on Autumn). Hiking shoes - any case you want to go to mountains. NB! painkillers, plasters. Your own shampoo, soap ect.

We learned the hardway 15 years ago by bringing duffle bags and luggage. If you are young and on the move I suggest you take a backpack. In Corfu you will neeed shorts, sunscreen, aspirin and a good liver.
