This is probably my favorite café in Patras. The atmosphere is amazing, a small place (hard to find a free table) that looks like an old house with old furniture for decoration. There’s a balcony upstair, great spot if you find a free table.
They have great hot chocolate, I loved the single one (3e) but also the chocolate with nuts (4e), they have many other flavors too (next time I will try the chocolate with vodka and rum!).
The coffee collection is good too: espresso(2e), espresso caramel(2,5e), espresso freddo(3e), cappuccino(3e), greek(1,5e), several teas (3-4e), soft drinks, fresh orange juice (3,5e).
There’s (of course) draft beer (3-3,5e) but also bottled: corona, mc farland, erdinger, weisteiner, paulaner, duvel, budweisser, fisher traditional (3,8e each!!)
Finally, there are some desserts like applepie (3e), chocolatepie (4e) and cheesecake(4e)
The music was also great! I loved this place, especially upstairs! The service was quick and friendly
WATCH OUT! If you try to go out to the balcony watch the low wall, you may hit your heads and it will hurt (true story) :(

Patras has its own local fast food chain and the name is very French: Le Coq!
You can spot then by their vivid orange colour!
Nice, clean, modern atmosphere and a very big selection of fast food (fast, but good!).

Politia is the site of the former municipal abattoir of Patras. Now elegantly converted into a 'multi-space', it hosts a restaurant/brasserie plus various spaces used for cultural and other events.
During warm months, it is ideal to sit under the tent on the outside. Just next to the tables there is a children's playground, making the place ideal for families (while staying bearable for others).
Favorite Dish: The main thing is the beer - they have their own brand. Various nice dishes exist (e.g. sausage).

I didn't actually eat here, just grabbed a couple of beers whilst waiting for my train, but this was a friendly cafe/restaurant with plenty of shaded outdoor seating to sit and watch the traffic zooming past. The menu is fairly basic but then this is not the sort of place designed for a romantic evening out given its location between the dock gates and the railway station.
I think the beers were about 3 euros for a large one and so not too expensive and the waiter, obviously working for his 1 euro tip, was chatty without being too intrusive.
The "looky, looky" guys were out in force selling everything from the usual sunglasses and CD's up to some quite expensive looking binoculars and a few child beggars added to the mix.
Favorite Dish: Ice-cold Mythos!!
