Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Even during the winter, it would be a good idea to have with you not only warm clothes, as the sun can be usually appeared... In the summer, bring with you as less clothes as possible.

Miscellaneous: Even if you forget something, you can find it here. The best you can bring is just your best mood, a smile, like these children do (who come from... Morocco, not Greece, but their expansive smile is whatever best)...

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Make sure that you have a high factor sun cream with you.
Photo Equipment: Make sure that you have plenty of films with you. You will find yourself taking lots of photos. On my first trip to the city I managed to take about 40 photos within 1 1/2 days!!!

Miscellaneous: Athens heat during the summer months can be extremely oppresive. Take lots of water with you especially up in the Acropolis because there are no shops in there. The only shop is just outside the ticket booth and it's expensive.

Luggage and bags: Sailing ships have cramped quarters, back in small bags, and try to only bring one.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: On this cruise, we had to have nice clothes. On the last night i wore slacks and a two-button navy blazer to the Captain's dinner.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: sunscreen prevents skin cancer!
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: trunks, there's a lot of swimming involved in being at sea for a week. Also, I have these Chaco thongs, with the Vibram soles that are life-savers when hiking down 1000' vertical feet of centuries-old slippery stone steps.

Luggage and bags: Bags with wheels are necessary for your sanity. A light backpack comes in handy also.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light airty clothes in the summer.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Everything is available in local pharmacies.
Miscellaneous: Stay at the Hotel Atalos. There is none better.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Umbrella is necessary in every month except summer although it's quite unlikely to use it,but have it just in case.In winter apart from jackets,coat and such,bring and lighter clothing as it can be warmer.In summer, light-colored t-shirts,shorts,hat,sunglasses are necessary.Generally wear as few clothes as you can!Also,note that on the Acropolis the ground is slippery so bring the appropriate shoes...
Photo Equipment: Avoid buying films from kiosks.They're generally more expensive.Buy them from photo-shops.

Luggage and bags: (pic)A cafe near to Acropolis. I should have packed a Greek Dictionary before I go, No English, only Greek here in Athens. This is the place I found worst in communications during my Europe trip in 1999.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Athens is HOT for most of the year bring light clothes and plenty of t shirts / shorts. Dress code i s usually informal.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring a roll of toilet paper !
Miscellaneous: You MUST bring a good pair of sunglasses. Light is harsh and UV high.

Luggage and bags: I stayed 2 weeks and managed to get it all in my carry-on with room left over to bring back souvenirs.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Dress for the season. I went in the summer and I did fine by packing t-shirts, short pants, and wearing comfortable shoes.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sun block, sun block, sun block.
Photo Equipment: 35mm camera and buy your film at home.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: If you go to the beach, don't forget the sandals.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Something cool like shorts, skirts, T-shirts, strappy tops and trainers, sandals. Things like that and something a bit warmer at night.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: The usual stuff you use, and high factor sun cream, after sun and antiseptic cream.
Photo Equipment: Camera, films and batteries.
Miscellaneous: A walkman.
