BEACH OF MAKRYS YIALOS
Favorite thing: From the crossroad, known as Konismataki, beliw Pharaoh Hill, you take the surfaced road to the left which lead to the two beaches.
Don't go there very late because you will not find where to park the car.
On the photo, Radmilo my husband, very happy, because we found where to park the car.
BEACHES OF MAKRYS AND PLATYS YIALOS
Favorite thing: Makrys Yialos meaning Long Beach and Platys Yialos meaning Wide Beach are the two beaches you shouldn't miss.
They are both organised (well, better Platys Yialos) but they are both very good.
The picture was taken at the entrance of Makrys Yialos.
DRAPANOS BRIDGE AND THE OBELISK
Favorite thing: Drapanos bridge links the town the othe opposite side of the lagoon. The construction of the bridge was carried out in 1813 under the supervision of the Colonel De Bosset on behalf of the English. There used to be a plaque, on the obelisk, with the date of the construction, wich doesn't exist anymore.

MAKRYS YIALOS BEACH
Favorite thing: There is a bar at the beach, deck-chairs and umbrellas. I am not sure, but that I think that we paid somethin like 9 euros for the umbrella and the deck-chairs.
Favorite thing: It is a pedestrianised street, vivid, full of shops and cafes. Walk aling this street and if you want have a coffee or beer or whatever in one of the cafes.
