Bread slices with origan
Ingredients for 2
-4 slices of village bread
Slightly dampen the bread and squeeze out any excess water. On top of each slice, add salt, vinegar, origan and olive oil. Squeeze tomato on top.
Ingredients for the filling
- 1/2 kilo of veal meat
-1/2 of pork meat
-00 grs of rice (not cooked)
- head of garlic
- bunches of parsley
- chopped tomato
Ingredients for the crust
-1 kilo of flour
-1 glass of wine
-1 glass of olive oil
Cut the meat into size cubes.
In a large por set all the filling ingedients ex cept for the rice. Simmer till the meat becomes softer.
Meanwhile, we make the crust.
In a large bowl, we place all the crust ingredients, we knead till to make a soft dough which we divide in two parts.
We open out the two parts on a flavoured surface.
We place the first part go the crust into one slightly stained with oil large baking pan.
We add the filling wich first we mix with the rice.
We place the second part of the crust.
Add a little water for the rice to be cooked in the oven.
We seal the edges of the crusts.
We pierce with a fork the crust to allow steam to get out.
We bake in the 200C for about 1 hour or till to be done.
