Chios Island What to Pack

  • greekcypriot's Profile Photo

by greekcypriot Updated May 20, 2010

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Luggage and bags: Don't carry a heavy suitcase. You will surely want to bring back with you some of the home-made sweets and marmelades and these are quite heavy to carry.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Carry a pullover or a light jacket even if it is the middle of summer because it is much cooler on the mountains where you will visit Anavatos, Avgonima, and other villages in the north.

Photo Equipment: A video camera or your digital camera will do fine. The island is SO beautiful that you will surely take many photos. Of course this stands if you are a person who loves taking photos.

Miscellaneous: Don't forget you mobile's and camera's chargers, as well as your laptop's.
A Usb to empty your photos because believe me the beauty is such that you will be really enjoying taking photos!
Carry a mosquito repellent, a gel or something to avoid probable itching.
