Horses on the Island!
Helpfulness
greekcypriot 1356 reviews
There are a number of horses in the capital, horses that are loaded by locals and help them carry heavy loads since no cars are allowed after the main square where the taxis are.
From there onwards you have to go on foot, and this is where the magic starts!
You can scarcely find this of course…..(see the photos) but it is possible.
So, to avoid bad surprises, from time to time have a look and check where you step. Don’t forget to wear a pair of flat shoes because in some places it can get very slippery. You don’t want to spoil your lovely holidays do you?
Spend time walking, be sure to have your camera along, and try to get lost. I did this and I thought I was walking through a labyrinth. What an experience! In every step there is a pleasant surprise. You cannot stop taking photos up here.
