The people of Trovato live during the year in bigger cities like Agrinio, Karpenisi, Lamia and Athens of course.
They meet each other during the summer in the village, they celebrate during the local festival at 14 of September at Ai Dimitris church.
What’s more, they have a newspaper with local news that is publised every 3 months since 1980.
The word “Trovato” is a companion of the ancient greek word “trivos”(means passable/smooth) and the catalexis “–aton”(that means place).
So, Trovato propably means “the passable place” because it’s the only village of the area that isn’t placed on a steep hill.
If you come from Karditsa there are gas stations at Mouzaki.
If you come from Karpenisi there is a gas station at Kenti. Don’t forget to fill in because there is no other station after that until Trovato.
What's more when I go from Mouzaki I do some shopping there, especially on Saturdays when they have a flee market.
When I go from Karpenisi I can buy everything there because it's a modern city.
