Aghios Ghermanos is a beautiful traditional village of the area, named after a church of the 11th century AD with exceptional murals, placed at the central square of the village. The church houses the tomb of Saint Ghermanos, Patriarch of Constantinople (9th century).
On the island of Aghios Achillios there is the remains of the basilica of Aghios Achillios that dates back to the 10th century AD.
A boat from Psarades village can drive you to the old hermitages built on the rocks by the lake. Scenery is magnificent.
