Aghios Ghermanos is a beautiful traditional village of the area, named after a church of the 11th century AD with exceptional murals, placed at the central square of the village. The church houses the tomb of Saint Ghermanos, Patriarch of Constantinople (9th century).

A boat from Psarades village can drive you to the old hermitages built on the rocks by the lake. Scenery is magnificent.

You can make a tour to the hermitages at the lake: There are wall paintings on the rocks and the hermitages of the Ascension, of the Transfiguration, and of Panagia Eleousa.
