All over Greece you will see these little roadside shrines, erected as my friend here on VT, janetanne, expained, sometimes to mark the whereabouts of churches but more usually to mark the place of a car accident. The shrines are sometimes a memorial to those who have been killed and sometimes as a tribute of thanks for those who have survived. The blue one here looks as if this was one of the unlucky ones.

.........are the waitresses getting younger?
Here I was sitting on the terrace of this little cafe overlooking the valley with a beer and watching the butterflies fluttering by and here's our waitress, she really was a little charmer!

There were lots of cats milling around the entrances to the Museum and Upper Site.
Although they look relatively healthy, I assume they are strays.
One particular cat (with one eye) followed me around the Upper Site, meowing incessantly.

The road between Athens and Delphi was littered with memorials to people who had lost their lives. The memorials traditionally hold a photo of the victim, a lantern, and a small bottle of flammable liquid. This means that anyone passing can light the lantern in rememberance of the victim. The memorials are very vivid reminders of the dangers of cars and winding mountain roads.
The photo shows a memorial I found at the end of the modern town of Delphi, near the Amalia Hotel.
