Pefkos Travel Guide

the food in this restaraunt is excellent particularly the Pizza's if you go to Pefkos you shouldn't miss them. My picture shows the 2 guys that run it

We booked on an excursion called "Nikos of the jungle" and weren't quite sure what to expect other than being told we'd get to explore some of the Rhodian countryside most tourists miss, and wear shoes u don't mind getting wet!!
On meeting our guide, Nikos (a rather eccentric local) we headed through the terraced groves of olives & citrus friut etc before tramping through the "jungley" wilderness, at times up to our knees asa we followed a stream through the undergrowth, all the while being regaled with local history, myths, legends, customs & traditions. We had an impromptu "wedding", greek dancing & bbq lunch in a beautiful shaded clearing.
Highlights of the day were the chance to dive down awaterfall into a gorgeous pool & the kids being able to pick their own pomegranates off the tree!
