What to take
Photo Equipment: A camera and plenty of film (or MB of storage, these days). A sunhat and shades.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: If you plan to do some rafting, hiking or birdwatching, bring any specialised equipment with you – you won’t find binos or headtorches in Ioannina.
Miscellaneous: A Greek phrase book.
There are lots of skilled, cheap tailors, cobblers and suchlike, if anything needs mending.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Resort
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: The toilets in Greece don't handle paper very well so you have to deposit used paper in a small bin supplied in your appartment. Top tip is to take scented nappy bags to place used paper in, this keeps the room smelling fresh even if the maid misses a day.
Luggage and bags: The History of Epirus and especially that of Ioannina is entwined with the tradition and development of the art of silver making. Great artists have created artwork never seen before, of unique technical and artistic complexity, with a great deal of love and desire.
This tradition and appeal, we continue to this day, with great respect and a feeling of great responsibility towards our clients.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Eco-Tourism
