The central square of Ioannina is 25th March square. It’s full of cafeterias, where the people use to gather during the summer before heading down to Molos etc. You can stop for a great sweet at Diethnes or any other café, see the statues of the square and the famous 100 year old clock at the nearby Litharitsia park. The clock is even more beautiful during the night.

The Archaeological Museum of Ioannina is behind the square. The museum opened in 1970 and it contains many findings from the general region of Epirus like from Dodoni, Kastritsa, Pogoni etc You can see items like sculptures, coins, painting collections etc There are also some temporary exchibitons.
The museum is open daily except Monday 8:30-15:00
