THIS IS THE LIVELY MARKET OF PRINOS,WHERE YOU CAN SHOP FOR A LOCAL BARGIN,IT IS HELD ON A MONDAY,THE STALLS SELL ALL MANNER OF PRODUCTS,IT HAS THE FEEL OF A REAL MARKET AND I HAVE VISITED IT ON MANY OCCASIONS,AND I FIND IT A BETTER MARKET THAN THE ONE IN KAVALA ON THE MAINLAND.

I wanted a holiday where I could combine the relaxation with the voyage. I was right when I chose Thassos Island. I chose Sk Prinos although the reviews about the resort was not encouraging but I liked the villa I chose. It was one of my great picks.The villa as I wrote was great, the resort super. It has a nice beach, not crowded at all and I really liked that, the water was incredible clear and no noise from the watersports existing on other beaches. after a day on this Dasilio beach we went and made a half tour of the Island:breathtaking views, incredible small beaches, a monastery with a great view and a small archeological site Alyki. In the evening we went to a small village in the heart of the mountains with tiny streets, traditional honey and great tavernas. The food was great, the host very nice and we also had a 10%dicount for choosing him although the prices were not high and the terrace was amazing!The next tour from the other part, was also interesting, a traditional village, a small olive factory and a beach where we could not stay because of the rain..., although everyone says it is the best beach in Thassos. The last day we made a cruise,beautiful landscapes.
