Instead of visiting the crowded beach in Sidhari, drive a little bit further to Peroulades. The beach might not be as nice as in Sidhari, but it has the same cliffs, it is a lot quieter and on a windy day the waves are great here!!! Not recommended for people with disabilities, since one has to walk some steep steps to get down to the beach. Beware of nudists (just look the other way) :-)

During our car adventure exploring Ios, we came across the small beach opening of Agni Bay on the north-east coast of the island. We ended up having a meal at Taverna Nikolas (at the far right hand side of the beach) which was one of my favorite meals in all of Greece and even Europe! Our waiter was the son of Nikolas and they both welcomed us so nicely! The greek salad and tzatziki were amazing and everything on the menu was reasonable priced!! They also insisted we take a gift with us when we left of a bottle of ouzo! The experience here really made my trip to Corfu and I only hope to one day return!

Paxos and Antipaxos, located to the south of Corfu are little jewels to visit. The very best olive oil can be found here. Visit a local olive oil merchant and taste his freshly squeezed oil, taken directly from large vats. You'll never buy store bought again.
