Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Very good walking shoes, because on a island there's a lot to go up to and the same to go down.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Very good suncream.
    Mosquito killer.

Photo Equipment: Have always your camera with you,you never know.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Have always 1 bottle of water with you, you can buy them on each corner and it's very cheap in Corfu.

    The most important item...

Photo Equipment: The most important item you should take with you is a camera and, of course, lots of memory space/film! There are so many amazing places to take pictures of, I took over 450 pics during our holiday... :)

    Clothing and shoes

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you're going to Corfu in summer, all you really need is sunscreen, a pair of sunglasses and a swimming suit. :)

If going in September or later in the autumn, also bring a sweater/fleece or a light jacket as it can get quite chilly in the evenings. An umbrella would be useful, too, as it tends to rain.

Comfortable shoes are important, too. There are lots of paths for hiking on the mountains, so comfy shoes are essential! Unless you want to spend all your holiday by the hotel pool, which I don't recommend, 'cause there's so much to see in Corfu!

The right cover for many situations

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Wear walking boots and long pants, if you are planning to walk through nature. There are moskitos and SNAKES.
Bring a rain coat, if the month is a rainy one. Rain gets bad!!
Gentleman wear long pants in churches, chaples and in all restaurants, also in your hotel for dinner!!! Ladys cover knees, shoulders and arms in exactly the same places. PLEASE DO SO, otherwise you are considered VERY IMPOLITE!!!!

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring one warm jumper or blanket, and a torch. If heavy rainfall sets in, electricity oftenly breaks down, and it becomes cold (heating breaks down), and light´s out ( therefore the torch). Our hotel provided unvoluntary candle light dinner in lack of electricity, you could hardly find the food on the plate! It can get cold there, and the bed sheet oftenly is only very thin. Therefore: bring something warm, too.
