1. The most important thing you must pack is some protection for mosquitoes . Island is full of mosquitoes, and other insects and you will have the big sleeping problems if you don't have any protection.
2. Because rock and the stones on the beaches it would be good to have shoes for the enter in the sea. Its can be very painfully for your foot.
Luggage and bags:
Try to find 'lightweight' luggage as many suitacases are really heavy items before you have packed anything in them!
Try to leave room in your case so you can squeeze in presents for yourself ,and gifts for others too. It beats trying to pack them all into your hand luggage at the last moment.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Sandals are a must, take one pair for day wear and another for the evening. Choose a neutral colour if possible so you wont have to worry about matching everything up.
If you plan to hike around, take a good pair of sensible shoes/boots with you or suffer the blisters. The terrain can be very rough indeed.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Toiletries and medical supplies are very expensive in Kassiopi, so ensure you pack everything you need or be prepared to fork out big time!
Photo Equipment: Take a good camera (with a flash) and plenty of film too. If you intend to snorkel or dive dont forget to invest in a good underwater camera too.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Take lots of swimwear, tee shirts and shorts. During the spring and summer months you will wear little else.
Miscellaneous: A few nice outfits for the evening will make you feel a million dollars, so pack some favourite and glamourous items to glide around the town at night.
