Reading a map!
Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus, the catchy title of the 1992 bestseller by John Gray, succinctly expresses an ancient dilemma. What--if anything--do men's and women's brains do differently?
The general statement that men and women respond and behave differently under the same circumstances is true; For example, from the crib, male babies tend to be more aggressive and females more passive. As adults, in spatial operations, men have the edge in such skills as negotiating a maze, reading a map, and quickly discriminating between right and left. Men also perform better than women when asked to visualize an object and imagine rotating it. On the other hand, women tend to perform better than men when asked to look at objects of different shapes, sizes, and colors, and then to group them in some order.
This still doesn't explian why a woman turns the map all around when a man is asking for the road to travel, while I like the map at one point so I can better visualize our position. Help!

Reptiles and other animals…..
If you like wildness and untouched nature Corfu is the right place for you. Kassiopi is full of different kind of reptiles, insects. Don’t be surprised if you see snake or lizard because is naturally here. This sweet creature from the picture is chameleon who has been lost by mistake on Bataria beach.
DONT DRINK THE TAP WATER
Like all parts of Greece, the water is full of minarals so drinking water from the tap will give you upsett stomach if your not used to it, and it has a really salty taste to it also. You can buy bottles of pure water very cheeply in most of the shops

Watch Out, Watch Out ,Theres Urchins About!
Unfortunately, to enjoy the beaches of Kassiopi you must wear adequate protection on your feet.
Sea Urchins, which are spiney little creatures, get washed up onto the beach and can cause painful injuries to us humans.
Fortunately, the problem is easily remedied by purchasing a pair of 'jelly shoes' available at most stores in town.
Okay, I agree, they are not the most glamerous items of clothing around, but they look much better, and are less painful than an infected wound.
Dont take any chances, these little creatures are great at camoflaging themselves.
Some beaches are completely clear of urchins, but if you find one you will be extremely lucky.

The Coastal Roads Of Corfu Can Be Very Hazzardous
Make motoring an enjoyable experience in Corfu by keeping to the speed limits and the right side of the road.
As I am from England and we drive on the left ,it is a bit strange to swap to the other side of the road, but with perseverence I did get used to it fairly quickly, and so should you too.
Most people drive to a reasonable standard in Corfu but beware of the odd motorist without any manners, and do beware of the moped drivers (lots of them too!) who weave from one lane to the next.
Look out for lots of sharp bends in the road from Corfu Town to Kassiopi and look out for the 'boxes' on the side of the road too. These are memorials to those who have died on that particular stretch of road. As the Greeks say "If you see a box, on the side of the road slow down or you may have a box dedicated to you, sooner than later!"
Keep yourself and your loved ones safe and sound.
Always Look ... You May Not Want To Leap!
It is always best to tread very carefully when visiting coastal areas in Corfu.
There are lots of cliff faces with no barriers whatsoever, and most have a sheer drop straight to the ocean.
It is easy to see the danger, especially where young children are concerned, so make sure your eyes are wide open, and keep everyone safe.
