The best and more comfortable way to get to Elafonisos is by renting a car.

With airport as a start, you follow the directions for Korinthos, full highway easy to drive.

Afrer you pass the Korinthos canal, driving about 10 kms, you will find the exit for Tripoli. You must stay in 2 left lines cos the exit is on the left side of the road.Till here on a day without traffic it will take you a little more than 1 hour.Still highway easy drive.

After the toll posts, you will start climb a mountain still highway, which takes you to Tripoli. On top of the mountain, before you reach Tripoli, there is the only tounel you will meet.Right after the tounel there is a Gas station with restaurant and bar.Is a nice place to make a small stop.

When you reach Tripoli you will have to leave the highway. You take the exit for Sparti,is right after a long right turn of the highway. You keep driving with direction of Sparti, which you reach an pass through.

Now you take the direction for Skala-Monemvasia.After a few kms and after passing an army camp on your right hand, you will need to be a little carefull not to loose the exit for SKALA.if you loose this exit will cost you at least 1 hour detour.

After passing through Skala you follow the directions for Monemvasia-Molaoi.

You also pass through Molaoi you follow the directions Monemvasia-Neapoli.From now on your main target is Neapoli...

When you pass the cross Monemvasia Neapoli direction Neapoli,a few kms before Neapoli you will find a small exit on your right for Viglafia-Elafonisos.This is it... You are almost there!

After 5 minutes following the directions for Elafonisos you find the small dock from where every half hour there is a boat which will take you to paradise... Dont worry about tickets for the boat, you will have it inside...

The duration of boat trip is 10 minutes.

The less time i've make for this road trip is 3hours 30min. The average time would be from 4 to 5 hours. Just be passiant and be carefull of the road, mainly after Skala...
