All tavernas of Ampelakia are situated at the central square of Ampelakia and serve under the shadow of the 300 years-old plane trees. We selected Takis Tavern having been previously informed from a friend in Larissa and we didn't dissapointed at all.

Roussanou Monastery was built in 1545 on the ruins of another church by the Maximos brothers from Epirus. The wall paintings and icons are worth a visit.
