One night as we were showering after beach, we heard the music coming from the harbor. We jumped into some clothes and run to see what is going on.
There was a concert with live Cretan music and with regular residents dancing on the street.
The whole families were dancing, with grandfather at the head of the line and little grandchildren at the end.
It was real treat. The whole show was going until late night.
Dress Code: no code :-)
There is always something going on in and around Sitia.
At least once a week there is a concert or a show in Kazarama - Venetian Fort above the old town.
The night we went there was a folklore show with dancing and singing.
It was quite long and well prepared. The dancers were regular folks (amateurs) from Sitia, but you could see they were dancing forever because they were that good.
Dress Code: Casual.
Bring something warmer like a shawl or sweater because after sunset the wind is chilly.
