The boat shown on this photo is obviously not a local boat. It was anchored with nobody on board. Boats with side lee-boards, used as rudder, are found in the Netherlands. If it actually came from the Netherlans, it had to sail a long way as well through canals and rivers than on the sea.

The island of Lefkas is very mountainous, with mount El?ti Oros toping at 1158m and neighboring mount Stavrotas at 1141m. Thus it receives plenty of rain, mainly in Winter. This is why there are waterfalls near Nidri and here, in Vasiliki, a fountain with ever flowing water, which is very unusual in Greece.
