Once been an old storehouse, solely made of wood and stone, Gallery lies on a hill, over a heavenly seaport and underfoot of a grand medieval castle that surmounts for centuries the alleys of the most traditional village in the Greek Island of Lesvos: the Ancient Mythimna or so called nowadays, Molivos!
Available outdoor space for enjoying the view of the blue sea, lounging or surfing on the web and indoor space for spirits accompanied with groovy music vibes.

Molly's Bar is above a reataurant on the harbour. It has a small balcony looking out over the harbour . The bar is really quirky (a bit like it's owners - Paul and Martin) with records decorating it. You can order anything from beer to sangria to ouzo or cocktails - complementary twiglets and nut are given. The music is varied and videos screened behind the bar - a great night out - every time I hear Mary Hopkins "those were the days" I'm back in Mollys.

The above bars are the Lesbian bars of Skala Erresos. Aqua is a new one this year, owned by the same woman who ran Fuego (which closed down two years ago). Aqua has a free ourdoor pool table! I went to Aqua and The Muse mostly, and not so much the Mill this year.
All the bars have outdoor terraces which are good for people watching (day and night) and space to dance!
Be warned if you get mixed drinks in any of these places - LOTS of alcohol!! Not a bad thing though! :-)
Dress Code: none - unless they are having a theme party. If there is one that night you will see flyers posted around the town. Themes range from bikini/beach theme, White parties, Black and White Parties, Pink Parties, ect.

You can listen to the beat and dance and drink.
There's also Greek modern music.
(If you're Greek you know what I mean...)
Dress Code: There isn't any special dress code. Try not to be too extreme, just something nice.
Oh, don't forget to bring your jacket (a light one) it's an open-air club.

If you are up for some real dancing and shaking, the outdoor disco Gatelouzi (shaped in the form of a boat), that you will run in to when you travel from Molyvos to Petra or the other way around is the place to be on a Saturday night (June-Aug only). Other nights are usually quiet. On Saturday, all the local teens go there and dance from dusk till dawn. Still it can be quiet on a Saturday night, the teen population isn't big enough to fill a place like that. They play all kinds of music, but the dj stinks. But that's ok, when you're having fun.
The entrance is about 7 euros. And there is a parking lot in front.

Molyvos offers something for everone. You can find lounge bars (not so busy), I've even seen a blues bar, nightclubs and live music (ask around).
If you want a bit of a tropical sense, take a taxi or bus (see: transportation tips) down to Molyvos and get your butt down the steps of Congas. It's a nice club in tropical style, right by the ocean. This is one of the two places I know you (sometimes) have to pay to get in. And that is sometimes, because if you get along with the bartender or the doorman, you might get in for free. Else it's about 6 euros each. There are wooden benches, you can sit at the bar or even dance. The toilets are not so clean, but what bar has a clean toilet? Especially knowing that you can't flush your toiletpaper (see: warnings tips). This bar is also open during the day. You can play pool or just chill and enjoy your drink. The music is very good.
If you still haven't had enough and Congas is closing, you can follow the crowd climbing up to party on at After Congas. A less attractive club, with a very very heavy door. But as I was sitting there one morning, I must admit, it did have a nice view.

Petra is a little town between Anaxos and Molyvos. It's nice to explore, because it is just as cute as Molyvos, only waaay smaller and probably less overwhelming. As I said, I wasn't too fond of all the tourists singing alone with the song 'I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of Youuuu!', down at some sports bar. So I tracked down the locals. They usually party at the bars along the boulevard. The first one you reach (if you come out of Anaxos), is Machine Bar. It's kind of a nightclub (small one) and a lot of the locals go there. They usually play Greek music, which is nice, because you pick up a few of their favorite hits. A lot of teenagers go there.
A bit further you can find TreeHouse, which I find the nicest one. It's a bar and the owner is a friendly greek man. They play all kinds of music but if you want to hear Greek in that place, you usually have to wait until late, till the dj is drunk. Mostly adults go here. Because...
Next door you can find Kytaro. This is usually where you can find the English people, screaming their lungs out. Also a lot of teens. But when you come in through the back door, you will find the hall way is filled with baby buggies... but where could the mothers be? Or the babies? Hm. Not my favorite place, because I prefer locals.
A bit further you can find a plaze, which is crowded during the day and even during the evening. You can have a drink but also have a meal.
If you want to get money, there is a cash dispenser back down the alley behind TreeHouse.
