On your way to the airport, you pass a beach cafe. We had been told you could go to the taverna once you had checked in at the airport but nobody told us there were two, one either side of the airport.We naturally presumed the one we had passed was the one mentioned.

This is a pure posing place for the young and trendy. Fancy furniture and horrible music with dreadful service from young ladies. It's the sort of place where you go to be SEEN! These places I loathe but we had an hour to kill so we ordered a beer. It came as a 350 ml bottle of Amstel and cost €4.50. This is dearer than any airport in England. It was absolutely outrageous.

Philip said the gents toilets were very smelly as well.

It does have a weedy, scratty beach where the young and beautiful were posing even more so!

Fun Alternatives: Give this place a miss and head beyond the airport. Although I have no reports on it, no-one who had been there said anything about nasty prices when we mentioned the place we had been to.
