Top Prefecture of Rethymno hotels
In most supermarkets and in touristic shops downtown Rethymno you will find lots of different herbs, which are compared to middle european prices extremely cheap. I bought two huge packages of Oregano for about 6 Euros. I think I would have to pay 10 times for that in Germany. A lot of different mediteranean herbs.
Throughout the village of Margarites you will find some shops producing and selling pottery. With the 'showrooms' on the outer walls of the shops, the village looks relly nice and surely you will find something to bring home with you. Pottery
