Our favourite restaurant in Ikaria was the Paschalia in Armenistis with wonderful authentic greek food and exceptional red wine home made by the owner.
Father and son are a wonderful team and offer extremely quick service with a smile!
An exceptional place and we wish them all the very best, mind you they have been going for many years and we read in their guest book how their visitors love their food and them!
They also rent out rooms over the Taverna.
Favorite Dish: Try anything and you won't be disappointed!

There are just 3 restaurants in Agios Kyrikos. They are all in the centre of the village, so you cant miss them. An nice wiew to a harbour and the sea and a lot of local children playing their games long after midnight will catch your attention. If I add the delicious food I told you all.
Favorite Dish: Try all the Greek specialitets: giros, suvlaki, greek salad, see food (fish, kalamari, octopus), dolmadakia.
You can also drink some local wine or an imported beer which is not exspensive at all (1,5 €/bottle).
And dont forget to try the local ouzo et meze! It was a little bit strange for me when I recived an ouzo (thats an alcoholic drink made from anis) served with a plate of tomatoes, cuocumbers, olive, some salt fish with home made bread and such stuf. But it tasted great inspite of the fact that one would never think that whiskey and coucumber is a compatibile combination.

This was the best place I had dinner on the island. It is located on the roof of "Kerame Hotel". The view is beautiful, the food very good and the service friendly.
I suggest that you choose a table under the hotel's windmill.
Favorite Dish: Everything was tasteful. I had grilled chicken with a salad of local boiled greens and herbs.
