When you come to northen Greece ask for the local cuisine.Try grilled soutzoukakia, and an aubergine from the oven.It is peeled after baked, they add oil, salt, garlic. It is an appetizer.Also instead of the usual Greek salad, ask for Pikantiki (See photo).Try giarmadakia and sausage as well. They are all local and very delicious.

Try the Serraiki Bougatsa with cream, ice sugar on top and cinamon.It is very popular and one of the best in Greece.
