Agios Stefanos has some really nice spots, take a walk around the village and if you like taking pictures you will find some nice motives ... enjoy the ones I found!
From the Alexis Zorbas on the top of the hill it is only a 10 minutes walk down to the beach of the village Agios Stefanos. The beach is very nice as you can see in the pics. Great restaurants in Agios Stefanos and there is also a nude beach.
Thalassa is situated on the beach in Arillas and has an amazing view to the sea. The food ranges from snacks to salads to traditional Greek cuisine. There is nice latin and jazz music playing in the background adding to the relaxing atmosphere by the sea. The traditional dishes are presented with a modern way but taste absolutely divine and all the salads on the menu are worth trying. Their Cheese Burger from the snack menu should also be mentioned as they have spiced it ever so tasty. You might have to wait for a while for your food to arrive, but boy is it really worth it! We ate there almost daily during our two week holiday.
House white wines are also excellent and should you ever get a rainy day in Arillas, Thalassa is the best place to spend it :)
Favorite Dish: Erotic Symphony (salad with parmesan, rocket and deep fried chicken with balsamic vinegairette)
Kokkinisto (beef cooked in red wine and tomato sauce served with rice)
I just wanted to share with you the pictures my sister took upon arrival by plane.
From the airport Kerkira you can take a public bus to Kerkira (approx. 1 hour drive).
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Corfu being one of the greenest islands in Greece has also a disadvantage - there is also rain and there are MOSQUITOS and there are MANY of them!!! Have some mosquito repellent with you otherwise you will not stand a single night. I was suffering a lot....
