Address: on the seaside
This applies of course only if you drive.
Drive in the direction of Ioanina by theE90-E92 road. After 10 km, in Parapotamos, turn left to Filiates (8 km)
Filiates is a nice little mountain town, quiet, with two squares. On each square, there are several cafeneion with terraces where you can have a drink. It has also two or three small psistaria where you can have a nice local meal.
You need 15-20 minutes to drive back to Igoumenitsa and it is very unlikely that you get any traffic jam on the way.
Beware : it is very likely that nobody in Filiates will speak any other language but Greek.
Favorite Dish: Skewers,
kotopoulo (roasted chicken),
kokoretsi (roasted lamb tripes).
